WHO ARE WE?
The McCormack Student Leaders Club is the premier student-run organization for the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management at UMass Amherst for aspiring sport industry professionals. We are dedicated to empowering students through hands-on experience, industry connections, and leadership development.
From hosting high-profile guest speakers and networking events to organizing sports tournaments and experiential learning opportunities, we provide members with the tools to thrive in the business of sports. Our club fosters innovation, collaboration, and professional growth, creating a community where students engage with professionals, gain real-world experience, and build the foundation for successful careers.

Hi, my name is Ben Meringoff from Woodmere, NY. I am a Junior double majoring in Marketing and Sport Management. I am a Property Assistant for Learfield helping out at basketball, football, and hockey games, as well as a Career Peer in the Chase Career Center. My favorite sports teams are the New York Yankees and New York Knicks.

Hi I'm Benjamin Glaser. I am a Junior Sport Management major from Los Altos CA. I am the Treasurer for MSL and my favorite sports teams are the SF Giants and Sharks
Lindsay Harrington '27
My name is Lindsay Harrington, and I am a sophomore Sport Management and Marketing major from New Jersey. I am currently Vice President of MSL and also a marketing and fan experience intern for UMass athletics, a McCormack Sport Department career peer, and a TeamworkOnline ambassador. My favorite sports team is the Boston Celtics!

Hi I am John Ward. I am a Junior Sport & OIM major from Hanson MA. I am currently the secretary of MSL and former communications chair. I intern with the UMass football team and work at the Mullins center. My favorite sport is hockey!

Pioneer Valley Tip-Off
The Pioneer Valley Tip-Off is a student-run high school basketball showcase featuring some of the best talent in Central and Western Massachusetts! The Pioneer Valley Tip-Off was started in 2011 by Scott Moses '15 and Pat Sallet '15, both students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and continues to be entirely student-run today! The showcase is held annually on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus, where we strive to create a professional environment for fans and players alike.
